Our team is looking to expand by adding several paid filmmaking internship roles. If you’re an emerging creative looking to add experience and mentorship by industry veterans, this is the perfect role for you.
Who You Are
• You are interested in the the film industry. Maybe you have some experience, maybe you don’t. What is most important is that you possess a willingness to learn and grow in all situations
• You are based in the Seattle area
• You love helping others and are excited to join and contribute to a team
• You can be flexible with your work schedule
The Details
• Time commitment: 3 months (flexible start date)
• Averaging 15-30 hours per week
Duties
• Assist team on creative development for various projects
• Assist team on shoots and edits as needed
• Participation in weekly team meetings (typically Monday and Wednesday mornings)
• Shadow team and learn VIA’s workflow
• Equipment management
• Complete educational film assignments for creative and technical development
• Create behind-the-scenes (BTS) content of the VIA team
• Assist with social media and website content creation and postings
