Marketing and Sales Lead

 

From pitching through launch, this role will involve discovering new clients and audiences, connecting with them, and sustaining those relationships. Coming onboard a small team, the chosen individual will play a key role in a growing company with opportunities for leadership.

Responsibilities

DISCOVERY + OUTREACH
• Head up client development and strategic partnerships
• Refine and develop the overall sales and marketing strategy plan for VIA
• Research new revenue streams, digital distribution, and marketing avenues for online content

CONNECT + BUILD
• Work with directors/producers to pitch projects to clients, brands, investors, and distributors
• Explore ways to build and expand the VIA brand
• Enthusiastically jump into something new and help the team bring any project to life
• Work with VIA principal on continued process improvement and innovation

Experience & Personal Qualities

• Superior ability to both connect with clients and market to online audiences
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills — particularly for client and project management
• An instinctual self-starter that sees gaps to fill, constantly looks for new opportunities, and loathes down-time
• Collaborative, open mind for giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Detail-oriented to achieve a high-standard of quality
• Willingness to put in longer hours when projects demand it
• Desire to work with a small, close-knit team and make a big impact on what the company achieves
• A network for marketing outlets — Press, PR, advertising — is a plus
